Scalping / Cob is a graphite rubbing on Fabriano paper of a waste piece of stone (scalping) located on Tegg's Nose, to the east of Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK.
The piece is finished with black earth pigment and framed, unglazed, in pine and MDF - finished also in black earth pigment.
The work is signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

graphite, black earth pigment, acrylic medium, Fabriano Accademia paper, pine, MDF, screws, nails, double-sided tape.
